Organised by Trina at the Cotswold View Caravan and Camping Park near Charlbury, a reasonable turnout and we did miss those who couldn't make it. The weather was forecast to be terrible but we only got really wet a couple of times, unfortunately most people were packing up their tents when Sunday's downpour occurred. Smug grins from those of us who managed to be packed up before the rain, more by luck than judgement so we won't get too smug. The site was rather more posh than we're used to, which meant there was a shop on site, good for those who forgot the curry sauce. There was also a games room, the air hockey table was great fun although I'm still not sure who won. Once again, someone left the quote book behind, strangely there was a beer mat to hand when we hit the Tite Inn at Chadlington on Saturday night so some things did get written down. Most attendees agreed that Mr. Eastwood's e-mail about getting Julie to attend when some 'un-named' individual dropped out was probably the best quote anyway. If you weren't on the circulation, it's too long to print here so tough. Some examples .... "I'm not really feeling up to doing it with my right hand" JPL Completely unrelated follow up, but it looks funny written down "Do you still do things like that?" JAS Saturday was spent wandering around the Cotswold Wildlife Park a few miles South of Charlbury. A massive place with an interesting range of animals. There was also a miniature train, very popular with the kids, and a restaurant reminiscent of (bad) schooldays which was much less popular with kids and adults alike.
